The Pendleton Homeschool Association (PHSA) was founded in the fall of 1994 by a small group of families in Eastern Oregon looking to support each other in their homeschooling journey. For thirty years, we have offered help, information, encouragement, social interaction and educational opportunities. We also strive to promote a positive image of homeschooling families to our community here in Pendleton. What started as no more than 8 families has grown into a group of about 35 families, all bringing their unique perspectives and ideas to our homeschooling community.
PHSA is run by a board of directors that meets five times a year to conduct business. They organize a start-of-the-year Welcome Potluck and coordinate the various events and activities that PHSA members can participate in throughout the year.
