Depending on the overall interest and participation in any given year, PHSA members will organize and host a variety of other events and "shares". In the past, we have enjoyed Poetry, Geography and Science Shares. We've also organized classes at the Art Center and Spelling Bees. In recent years, students were able to test their engineering skills in the PHSA Egg Drop held at Grecian Heights with the help of the Pendleton Fire Department, build rockets and launch them, and enjoy their prowess in a Science Share.

    

PHSA members are also made aware of opportunities sponsored by other organizations, such as Oregon Ag in the Classroom, Pendleton Public Library, OCEANetwork and the Children's Museum of Eastern Oregon. Some of these events include Watershed Field Days, conferences, Oregon State Testing info and more.

 

Our other activities are as varied as our members, which makes each year with us different and special.
